This is a very powerful small computer, with 4 (yes 4) HDMI ports, support for two SSDs (but only one head sink was supplied), and with no documentation. It has some rough edges.
Once you figure it out, it works well enough to be a keeper, but it is not so easy with no paper documentation
Very many USB ports and 4 HDMI ports, very fast, smaller than your usual PC. It is very hard to find a small PC with even 2 HDMI ports, and this guy has 4. Very quiet. Great for a remote worker.
There is nothing included about installation of software. No paper instructions, and not so easy to find online (you can) The HDMI ports do not work with the default Microsoft basic driver, and it is guesswork to install the Intel driver.
Doesn't seem to be a fan for the storage part of the device, and only one heat-sink for the SSD (but two slots). The front has a very bright flashy light that means inappropriate for a bedroom location.
The BIOS is impossible to enter from the boot (none of the usual keys work), and when entered via Windows recovery, it flashes constantly and doesn't seem to work very well. Perhaps some issue with whatever Windows is doing to run BIOS (it doesn't work).
While I installed 16 GB of memory, it only found 8GB. Might not be all of these however.
What you need:
All you get in the box is hardware installation instructions. You have to also be sure you order more stuff (that costs you about another $300).
- SSD (m2 type)
- memory (I got 16 gB) -- 2 sticks
- an operating system (I used the USB version of windows 10).
This is a very powerful small computer with tons of ports, very fast, smaller than your usual PC. It is much faster than my i5 device that has similar memory/SSD. It takes some guesswork to find the INTEL driver that make the HDMI port work. All you get in the box is hardware installation instructions. You have to also be sure you order an SSD (I am using a 1TB device), memory (I got 16 gB), and an operating system (I used the USB version of windows 10). Overall, I think it is a very good device, but you have to be comfortable with opening up the box to install hardware, and lots of effort to find the display driver so it can actually use the ports.
