With the recent coronavirus epidemic I have been trying to take care of my patients while "sheltering in place", meaning basically sitting around. I have tried out several of these, with mixed results.

I am using a very powerful PC with lots of memory and speed, and a heavy duty "conference camera" from Logitech. So my problems are not from lack of hardware.

doxy.me -- this software is pretty but it is broken.

Zoom -- this software works fine, it just isn't that pretty for a medical office, and it requires considerable setup for patients to use on their cellphone.

vsee

Vsee is an unknown. They do not have a "try before you buy" mechanism. They also do not have a refund if it doesn't work for you mechanism.

Google hangouts Meet

And the winner is ??

Well, none of these work very well. Probably zoom is the best pick for now. After the pandemic is over, I don't know. Maybe a laptop that works with doxy.me.
