Logmein -- Fraud

2016

This company formerly was a free method of establishing a remote desktop like connection to "subscribed" computers. In 2015, it was converted to a forced subscription model. The price rose hugely and now there is no way to "unsubscribe". In other words, Logmein has been converted into a "scam".

I would not mind if Logmein notified me that they were converting to a higher priced model, and if they let me "unsubscribe" from their webpage. I do mind that I am now "enrolled" in a web program that I cannot easily ditch. Usually these sorts of companies get sued. I think this is a good idea.

Someone should sue Logmein -- a class action suit preferably, to recover subscription fees and to punish unethical behavior.
